State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov proposed creating a special section for online dating in the State Services, RT reports with reference to an appeal to the Minister of Development, Communications and Mass Communications of Russia Maksut Shadayev.

Milonov noted in his letter that over the past year, important sites have left Russia due to international sanctions. However, the online dating industry is here to stay.

Unfortunately, the parties to the conflict are filled with all kinds of applications and services, which leads to a decrease in assistance not in finding a reliable life partner and permanent spouse, but in satisfying base sexual moods and, as a result, a sexual partner for one or two nights.

Therefore, a logical measure would be to allocate a separate section on the Gosuslugi portal, where people could safely and conveniently look for a partner, make acquaintances and look for a beloved life partner.

— Vitaly Milonov

According to the deputy, the need for a proven and reliable application has long been overdue. [RT]
