Performance in games was higher either with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D or with its rival. However, sometimes the frame rate of both processors in the game was the same.
In Battlefield V with the high preset at 1080p, we managed to achieve 351 fps (with R7) and 365 fps (with R9) at 4K – 230 fps and 228 fps, respectively.
Far Cry 6 was running on high graphics settings. In Full HD, the frame rate was 194 fps (with Ryzen 7) and 176 fps (with Ryzen 9), 4K – 142 fps and 141 fps (with R7 and R9, respectively).
Cyberpunk 2077 has arrived with the Highest preset. Performance at 1080p in this case was 220 fps and 224 fps at 1440p – 155 fps with both processors, 4K – 77 fps with both processors (with Ryzen 7 7800X3D and Ryzen 9 7950X3D respectively).
Forza Horizon 5 ran on ultra graphics settings. In this game, the frame rate at 1080p was 208 fps with Ryzen 7 and 206 fps with Ryzen 9, and in 4K it was 135 fps in both cases.
Performance in Spiderman Remastered with high graphics settings was 152 fps with R7 and 150 fps – 129 fps and 127 fps with R9 in 4K, respectively.
Overall, gaming performance was higher with the Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, but only 0.5% (181fps for Ryzen 7 and 180fps for Ryzen 9).
