The company has long been interested in solving the problem of identifying users as people without creating additional complexity for them. It is also important to protect against spam bots.

Google has previously offered solutions like ReCAPTCHA V2, which replaces confusing characters with simple checkboxes and then makes those checkboxes invisible.

Now, Chrome developers are working on an automatic authentication feature. If this setting is enabled, the site where you have already proven your “humanity” will store this information in the form of a cookie.

Other sites will be able to verify this proof without accessing your browsing history and verify through Chrome that you are indeed human.
