How to use WhatsApp on two mobile phones or devices at the same time

For years, WhatsApp had a huge limitation: you could only use it on your mobile phone. It was right in the beginning. To connect a device:

1. Open WhatsApp Web or WhatsApp Desktop on the connected device.
2. Then open WhatsApp on your primary phone.
3. On Android go to More options > Paired devices > Pair a device
4. On iPhone, go to Settings > Paired devices > Device pairing
5. Unlock your phone with an activated method if needed
6. Point your phone’s camera at the QR code displayed by the paired device.
7. When scanning the QR code, the link will become active

You will now have access to your WhatsApp messages, files, groups and contacts on two or more devices. Device pairing process only needs to be done once and in each of the connected devices.

Whatsapp on two Android or iPhone mobile phones

The previous example is for using WhatsApp on two or more devices. But if it’s about split whatsapp account on two mobile phones, things are changing. While WhatsApp supports multiple devices, the process is now easier than before.

10. When finished, you will see that the account is activated and synchronized on both mobile phones.

From now on, you will have access to your WhatsApp messages, files, groups and contacts on two iPhone and/or Android mobile devices.
