In the first four months of 2023, the amount of leaked data in large Russian companies increased by 1.5 times, up to 75, FACCT (the former Group-IB in Russia and the CIS) told Vedomosti. The trend was also confirmed by DLBI, a darknet monitoring and data breach intelligence service, as well as by Kaspersky Digital Footprint Intelligence: according to their estimates, the number of breaches in the first quarter increased by 2 and 2.5 times, respectively. .
According to the FACCT, the leaked data mainly belonged to the largest financial and insurance companies, government agencies, as well as companies in the field of information security.
Among the largest hijackings, DLBI named a double data leak from the bonus program Sberthanks (52.5 million records in total), the Sportmaster chain of stores (46 million records) and the online pharmacy zdravcity.ru (8 .9 million records).
In April this year, according to DLBI, there were data leaks from the ticket service kassy.ru (4.5 million unique emails and the same number of phones), the online store zoloto585.ru (9.9 million records) and Empresa Sogaz insurance (8.3 million records).
