More than half of young entrepreneurs said that well-known businessmen influenced their formation, a study by the NAFI Analytical Center showed, which was reviewed by RB.RU.
Top 5 Entrepreneurs who Influenced Young Russians to Start a Business:
- Elon Musk (Tesla, Space X),
- Oleg Tinkov (Tinkoff),
- Pavel Durov (Telegram),
- Ayaz Shabutdinov (“As Center”),
- Tatyana Bakalchuk (Wild Strawberries).
Russian businessmen Konstantin Ivlev, Sergey Galitsky, Fyodor Ovchinnikov, Arkady Novikov and Oscar Hartman also ranked among the ten most mentioned.
The analysts also found that more than 60% of young entrepreneurs in Russia started their own business out of a desire to be independent (60%) and earn money doing what they love (67%). At the same time, 56% of entrepreneurs under the age of 35 admitted that there were entrepreneurs on their path who inspired them on this path with their personal example.
The study involved 500 Russians between the ages of 18 and 35, who were leading their own business activities.
