However, not all of them are kind and helpful. According to the research, “bad” bots that can spam, spy, hack websites and do other “dirty” actions already account for 30.2% of all traffic. This is 2.5% more than last year.
At the same time, not only the number of “bad” bots increased, but also their “skills”. More than half of all traffic from them came from so-called “advanced” bots, which became even more cunning and dangerous.
Tourism, retail and financial services suffered the most from his actions. In the gaming and telecommunications sectors, the share of such traffic was almost half of the total.
