Technology investment fund HR&ED and The Orbit have launched a joint venture Scalez to develop startups in the India, Indonesia and MENA (Middle East and North Africa) markets. This was reported to RB.RU by a representative of Scalez.

The investment fund HR&ED-tech and The Orbit launched a project to develop new companies in the markets of India, Indonesia and MENA

Participation in the program is free. Startups are promised regular consulting on sales, marketing and business process building from local advisers in new markets, as well as development and scaling investments in the amount of up to $350,000.

Scalez plans to finance 5-6 startups in 2023. The fund itself invests 50 thousand, the rest of the funds – a syndicate. The adviser receives a 1% to 2% stake in the project.

Applications are considered from founders of startups in the HR-tech and EdTech fields, including those that develop and implement AI. In addition, FinTech, MarTech, GameDev and Web3 startups, which meet the criteria, will be eligible to become participants.
