The 2GIS mapping service is no longer available on the Google Play app store. Applications already installed on Android continue to work, the data will be updated daily.
The application can be downloaded “free and safe” from the official website of the service and from the Huawei App Gallery, Samsung Galaxy Store, RuStore and other application stores.
Most likely, the removal is due to sanctions against Sberbank, which is the main owner of 2GIS and whose key applications (Sberbank Online, SberBusiness, SberInvestor X, etc.) disappeared from the App Store and Google Play immediately after the introduction of restrictive measures.
In September 2022, the service was removed from the App Store in September 2022, but in April 2023 the app became available again for download from the Apple App Store.
