A group of scientists from the University of Kyoto and startup Sumitomo Forestry acquired the properties of using wood as a quality and material from space.

And this may not be a joke. The joint project will be launched in 2020, and the god’s past will never be made public by Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agents Two (JAXA), who took it upon themselves to send samples of three types of research to the ISS, where they were placed in the Kibo module for almost 10 months.

A significant proportion were extracted for research, and already the first results of their measurements – the ancient Esina perfectly passed the tests of the spacecraft.

The best of this “troika” was magnolia. Due to its natural UPrugosti, it practically did not undergo deformation, decomposition, cracking, other defects and almost did not change weight.

The resources that have exhausted their resource eventually became space debris, part of the coverage, falling, sgo Light in the Earth’s atmosphere. At the same time, the products of combustion (often increasing), accumulating, become a serious problem for the environment. In this sense, the spacecraft, part of the fragments made of wood, looks much safer.

The first wooden satellite could be launched into orbit as early as 2024, the team said in a press release.
