The buyer of the German automaker’s business was LLC Art-Finance, owned by the holding company. The cost of the transaction is not specified. According to the source of the publication, it was agreed on April 17 for a price of up to 125 million euros.

On the day of approval, its price was almost 11.3 billion rubles, and at the current rate it exceeded 10.8 billion rubles.

The structure of Art-Finance LLC was registered in February of this year. The owner of 100% of the company is the president of Avilon Andrey Pavlovich.

Art-Finance bought all the shares of the Russian representative office of Volkswagen Group Rus LLC, including the local companies Volkswagen Components and Service LLC, Scania Leasing LLC, Scania Finance LLC, Scania Insurance LLC.

Earlier, the media wrote that the automaker was dissatisfied with the supply of its cars from China to the Russian Federation. Volkswagen has developed a system to combat the importation of its Chinese-assembled cars into the country.
