Project Q will focus on streaming rather than launching games on its own. Users will only be able to stream games from PlayStation 5 consoles using the Remote Play feature over Wi-Fi. The device itself cannot run games on its own. Interestingly, the game you want to play on a portable “console” must first be installed on the PlayStation 5. Project Q has an 8-inch HD display and DualSense split controller.

Sony also announced plans to launch Bluetooth earbuds similar to AirPods. These headphones can be connected to PlayStation console, mobile devices and PC at the same time.

Sony has yet to announce a release date or pricing.
