The purpose of using the locking features in Windows 11 is to increase security by sandboxing such applications and limiting their access to critical Windows components.

Therefore, even if a compromised Win32 application is running, it will be extremely difficult for attackers to exit this sandbox and compromise the entire system. A preview of this feature is already available for both enterprise and non-enterprise customers.
