The Electronic Commerce Union asked the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Investigative Committee of Russia to check the actions of Wildberries management for possible fraud. Public dissatisfaction was caused by Wildberries’ decision to block sellers’ products for 50 billion rubles.

The corresponding appeal was sent yesterday, May 25, to the President of the TFR Alexander Bastrykin and the Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov. The document contains a request to verify the presence in the actions of the management of Wildberries of signs of corpus delicti under art. 159 (fraud) and art. 330 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (arbitrariness), discovered Kommersant.
