As part of the Kalashnikov concern, a division for the production of drones will open. The concern’s managing director, Alan Lushnikov, said that in 2024, the concern will increase the number of devices produced with its help. At the same time, the manager refused to give the exact number of equipment planned for production.

The main task of the special vehicle division will be to produce complexes with guided idle munitions to destroy single and group enemy ground targets at a distance.

In addition to unmanned aerial vehicles, the unit will produce ground-based launch vehicles developed based on precision-guided ammunition adjustment systems, mobile command points and equipment maintenance facilities.
