Multiple users on Android: this is how you create profiles

A user account on an Android device is similar to your profiles on a Windows PC: you log in with your own credentials and then have access to your own apps, settings, and documents. So, it goes beyond adding a second Google account to your phone or tablet: you create your own profile for each person.

There are also disadvantages to setting up multiple user profiles on a single device. You’re not exactly getting any faster. The more users there are on a phone, the slower your device gets. After all, everyone installs their own applications on the device, which does not benefit the performance of your phone.

Also, it is not possible to activate multiple profiles on every Android device. It’s possible on a Google Pixel, but not on Samsung Galaxy phones. Galaxy tablets support the option again.

Another easier way to switch between profiles is to swipe the screen from top to bottom again. You will now find a profile icon in the control panel. When you tap on it, you can log into a specific user profile.
