Add signature in Google Docs

Open the Google Doc you want to add the signature to and click it. Insert / Draw / + New. This will take you to a canvas where you can draw. This can be lines, shapes, arrows, a text, etc. it could be.

Saving your signature will make it appear in the document. In most cases, the signature image will be very large. Clicking on it will bring up a blue border with small boxes around it. Below the selected signature you will find text wrap options. Select the option there for text. This allows you to partially overlay the signature over the text, just as you would with a pen.
