Apple finally showed us its iPhone 15 lineup at the Wonderlust event on September 12th. This lineup includes iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. There were other products announced during the event, but the iPhone 15 series stole the show.
But there is something that Apple has been failing lately in terms of the colors of its devices. This year is particularly sparse, with four dull pastel colors for the iPhone 15 models and another gray for the iPhone 15 Pro variants.
Other colors may arrive in March 2024, as has been the case in recent years. And if Apple is running out of color ideas, we’ll give you some good ideas for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro.
iPhone 15 mint green
Although this year’s iPhone 15 comes in a very light green color, you’d be hard-pressed to call it “green” in any way, shape, or form. It appears whitish and you can hardly notice that there is any green in it. Even if it is green, it will be closer to seafoam green than mint.
Apple could have done better by choosing a true mint green color for its iPhone 15 lineup. Apple offered a beautiful mint green color for the iPhone 11 and a pastel green for the iPhone 12, so that’s out of the question. An iPhone 15 in one of these shades of light green would be stunning.
iPhone 15 purple
Purple is a beautiful color that many people love, and Apple has made several variations of it in the past. We had purple color options for the iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and iPhone 14.
While there’s no purple color offered this year, it would be great if Apple offered the iPhone 15 in a lilac-lavender hue similar to the iPhone 12. After all, the colors this year are pretty muted, so something like the iPhone 11 or purple The iPhone 12 could be perfect.
iPhone 15 canary yellow
There are many fans of the color yellow. And halfway through the iPhone 14 cycle, Apple released a beautiful canary yellow shade for the device. The only time Apple had a yellow iPhone was with the slightly lighter yellow iPhone 11.
Although the iPhone 15 comes in yellow, it is a very dull and light yellow, leaning more towards a creamy white color. If you’re a fan of the color yellow, you’ll want it to be bold and bold like the yellows of yesteryear.
iPhone 15 green
We’ve already talked about mint green, but what about the forest green iPhone 15? This is one of many people’s favorite shades of green, and it would be nice to include it in the usual line of “fun” iPhone colors.
Apple previously released a dark green iPhone 13 mid-cycle, so green tones are no stranger to it: there were also the iPhone 11 Pro Midnight Green and iPhone 13 Pro Alpine Green. Forest green could be a great addition to the iPhone 15 color scheme.
The iPhone 15 comes in a blue hue, but again, like the other colors, it’s very faint and barely noticeable. Apple could even make a blue color similar to the blue iPhone 14 and it would look better.
But what if we had a darker blue color like the iPhone 13 or even the iPhone 12? These were bold shades of blue that were beautiful in person and it would be great to see these blue hues make a comeback. It would definitely be better than the “almost blue” iPhone 15.
iPhone 15 Pro gold color
Since the iPhone 15 Pro models feature an all-new titanium frame, some sacrifices had to be made with the colors. Gold, the long-time color choice for the iPhone Pro, has been replaced by Titan Gray, breaking the hearts of gold fans.
Gold titanium iPhone 15 Pro? It would not only be beautiful and impressive, but also elegant and stylish, as previous gold models have always been.
iPhone 15 Pro in red
Early rumors about the iPhone 15 Pro hinted at a crimson red color, but that seemed to fade when it was revealed that Apple would be using titanium and going with a dark blue color instead.
But how cool would a crimson red iPhone 15 Pro be? Apple usually introduces a new color option for iPhone Pro models, but this year Apple seems to have introduced a dark blue option again. Red would be much more interesting and unique, but it would be difficult to achieve with a titanium frame.
iPhone 15 Pro dusty rose
Apple may think that those who want the iPhone Pro models don’t want real color. But many have always dreamed of owning a pink iPhone Pro, especially the dusty pink shade.
The last time Apple used a similar color was the rose gold variant for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 7. It was one of many people’s favorite iPhone colors and Apple should bring it back or do something similar.
iPhone 15 Pro purple
We were excited when we heard that Apple was releasing a purple iPhone 14 Pro, but that excitement evaporated when we saw the colors in person. It was definitely more of a gray with a purple tint, and the purple color could only be seen in certain lighting.
It would be nice if Apple tried this with a purple iPhone 15 Pro, perhaps with a more true purple color that many of us originally expected from the iPhone 14 Pro. It would be cool to see such a rich purple color, although we think the titanium finish complicates things a bit.
If Apple had released Alpine Green on the iPhone 13 launch day, many would have probably chosen this color instead of the Sierra Blue they ended up buying.
With that in mind, we’d love to see the iPhone 15 Pro in a shade of green similar to the Midnight or Alpine Green they’ve had before. These were green tones, executed with elegance and sophistication; They weren’t too bright, but still attracted attention.
