From now on, if you want to change the model of your Samsung mobile phone and, for example, reserve a new one in the future. Galaxy S24The Korean brand has incorporated a very valuable function.
It’s called Temporary Cloud Backup and it allows you to save a complete copy of all the important data stored on your phone, from photos to contacts, to the cloud for free. Then, when your new phone arrives, it can be loaded with a backup, and you’ll never have to worry about accidentally losing valuable data during the switch.
It’s not a long-term storage solution like a Google Drive or Dropbox account, it’s a temporary service designed to give you a secure and easy way to store data for a short period of time for those moments when you absolutely need it. . However, this is really the only caveat as Samsung has gone to great lengths to provide a reliable and useful feature.
For example, there are no storage limits at all, and the individual file size limit is 100GB, so it’s unlikely that many people will have trouble backing up their smartphone data. It doesn’t require access to a computer or the use of a cable, everything is done on your phone via Wi-Fi, and a temporary cloud backup is linked to your Samsung account and uses storage space on Samsung Cloud. Once a backup is created, you have 30 days before it is automatically deleted from the cloud. This is reminiscent of a similar feature from Apple, where the free storage included with iCloud temporarily increases after you order a new iPhone so it can be used for backup.
Temporary cloud backup will be available on Galaxy S and Galaxy Z devices running Samsung’s OneUI 6 software, which is expected to exit beta in the near future. The feature will initially launch in South Korea with a global launch in the fall.
