An interesting feature of this generative AI feature is that while each user can create their own background, Instagram Stories offers some tips presets depending on the image type. Without a doubt, an original option to add a creative twist to publications.
Of course, we’ll have to see how this works in real life. It is likely, at least initially, that this new feature achieve better results with original images with simple backgrounds. If what appears in the background is very difficult to detect and therefore difficult to erase, the final product may not be optimal. At least until the parameters of the AI model used are refined.

But the latest news from Instagram isn’t limited to stories. The social network also announced additional measures aimed at limiting the reach of spam, especially in the accounts of content creators.
That is why the application will begin to implement a tool that will automatically identify subscribers or respond to requests suspected of being bots or spammers.
