But the most important thing is that this line of phones will leave Asia and position itself globally, starting with Europe.
The X100 will be available in Southeast Asian markets including India and Indonesia, while the top-end X100 Pro will also be available in European markets.
The X100 Pro has a 1-inch 50-megapixel main camera, a huge sensor by smartphone standards. Vivo says it has been tuned with “optical precision calibration” for “consistent sharpness and quality.” The X100 Pro’s 50-megapixel telephoto camera also has an optical zoom of up to 4.3x, up from 2x on the previous model. It has a new APO designation, which is Zeiss terminology for lenses designed to reduce chromatic aberration. There is also a floating lens element that allows you to take close-up photographs with a telephoto lens.

The X100 and X100 Pro are powered by MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9300 chipset. Both are IP68 rated for dust and water resistance.
Vivo declined to share embargoed European pricing information, but said the X100 Pro will retail in Hong Kong for HK$7,998, which translates to about €937, or $1,024. The non-Pro X100, on the other hand, will cost HK$5,998 (about $768/€702).
