The operating system was announced in October. HyperOS based on Android as a new alternative to Xiaomi cell phones.
And now the initial calendar for applying this change from the first half of 2024 has been given.
Nine devices will receive this update. Xiaomi 13 Ultra13 Pro, 13, 13T Pro, 13T, Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12S, Xiaomi Pad 6 and Little F5.
Xiaomi says eligible users will receive the update over-the-air, but the rollout will be gradual.
HyperOS is designed to power your phone, home, and even your car. Apart from a slight visual redesign, the operating system has a faster core, is lighter than MIUI and is faster to install.
Xiaomi will offer much more customization options for the lock screen with new template types, clocks, fonts and widgets, as well as more detailed wallpaper customization. The control center has a more simplified look compared to MIUI 14. Application icons are similar to MIUI 14.
