One of Apple’s top analysts is revealing his information about the rumored new 15-inch MacBook.

Big news awaits us soon in the Mac world, and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, one of Apple’s top leakers, has revealed new information. A few days ago we heard rumors about the possibility of Apple launching a new system. new 15-inch MacBook Airand now Kuo is not only confirming these rumors, but also M2 and M2 Pro chips.

This model will be placed in this way. One step below MacBook ProNot being able to include the M2 Max chip and clearly above the recently refreshed MacBook Air. Of course that would be an interesting option, and now Kuo assures we’ll see it by early 2023.

Ming-Chi Kuo posted three predictions about the next MacBooks Apple is working on on his personal Twitter account. You disclosed your information about new 15-inch MacBook and the alleged return of the 12-inch MacBook.

  1. The new 15-inch MacBook will enter mass production in the middle of the first half of 2023, and the launch date could be in the second quarter of 2023 or later.
  2. The new 15-inch MacBook can offer two CPU options, the M2 (with 35W adapter) and the M2 Pro (with 67W adapter).
  3. Rumor has it I haven’t heard of any plans for a 12-inch MacBook.

The information is interesting but leaves us with a lot of doubt. Hopefully we’ll have a rodelode when Apple refreshes the MacBook Pro. 14 inches with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips. If we also have a MacBook Air with an M2 chip and a 15-inch display, the differences will be small between two models

Probably The Pro will have more ports and a better display, but will have the same processor and the 15-inch Air will be larger. Of course, it won’t be an easy decision when the time comes.

As for the 12-inch MacBook, only Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman seems to trust this device Apple stopped production years ago due to its similarities with the iPad. They were similar devices in price and targeted the same type of users. We’ll see what’s right in a few months.
