Samsung’s CEO for the region, HS Jo, announced this Tuesday that the pre-sales of the Galaxy S24 are better than the pre-sales of the Galaxy S23 in Latin America (23). According to that, M.More than twice as many devices were sold during the same period.
“Galaxy S24 series pre-sales on LATAM have so far outpaced previous year’s model figures by more than 100%, and this is just the beginning,” Jo said in the LinkedIn post. “The incredible acceptance of S24 in Latin America shows that LATAM consumers recognize and are open to all the possibilities that AI brings,” he added.
The Galaxy S24 series was introduced during the Unpacked event on Wednesday (17). The debut of the device is notable for the focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and structure changes in the S24 Ultra, which now has a flat screen and titanium body.
Samsung focuses on artificial intelligence
The highlight of Samsung’s next-generation mobile phones is the integration with Galaxy AI, Samsung’s artificial intelligence tool platform. The services guarantee a variety of possibilities, including simultaneous translation of calls, content formatting and transcription of voice recordings.
Photo editing and slow-motion video creation capabilities are also available on the Galaxy S24. New features increase the potential of the devices’ cameras, making the shots even more impressive.
In Brazil, the devices were launched starting at R$ 5,999 for the most basic model, up to R$ 12,999 for the Galaxy S24 Ultra in the most expensive version.
