WhatsApp has added a new feature to improve the style of our communications. Text formatting is a feature that recently debuted in WhatsApp and allows you to change the letter using shortcuts. Users can write in bold to highlight a key word or phrase, use italics to express emotion, or strike out text to indicate a correction. These tools become allies of those who prefer clear messages and better organized.
The good news is that Meta has added four text formatting options, including: bulleted lists, numbered lists, block quotes, and inline code. The first two work the same as in Word or any word processor and automatically add bullets or numbers to the list. This means you won’t have to add a hyphen or number at every line break because WhatsApp will do it for you.
On the other hand, block quotes perfect when sharing a famous quote or a piece of text. Some time ago, users preferred to write it in italics to distinguish it from regular messages, but this is no longer necessary. Starting today, WhatsApp will add a vertical divider and organize messages in blocks.
