Series Samsung Galaxy S24 is still developing since its birth and, as always happens in the industry, there are already rumors that Galaxy S25.
The big news in 2025 will be on the screen: the front panel will have a much larger diagonal than its predecessors.
Korean blogger yeux1122 stated on Naver that the screen size of the base model Galaxy S25 will “probably” increase from 6.2 inches to 6.36 inches. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the base model’s diagonal screen size change, with the S24 offering a 6.2-inch screen compared to the S23’s 6.1-inch screen.
This screen size is also rumored to be larger than the Pixel 8’s screen diagonal (6.2 inches) and will be around the same size as the Xiaomi 14 (6.36 inches).
It is also reported that the base model of Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro will have a diagonal of 6.3 inches.
One important aspect: increasing the screen diagonal size does not necessarily lead to an increase in the size of the smartphone as a whole. Changing the screen size may be a result of a slightly different aspect ratio.
