Line Xiaomi 14 It’s just coming out of the oven and the first leaks have already started to appear about the new high-quality product of the Chinese brand: Xiaomi 15.
Leaker Digital Chat Station stated on Weibo that Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship series (likely Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro) are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and will enter the next phase of testing this month.
Here are the characteristics that Xiaomi 15 will have:
- It will come with a “1.5K/2K dual size strategy.” It is assumed that 1.5K refers to the screen resolution of the Xiaomi 15, and 2K refers to the screen resolution of the Xiaomi 15 Pro.
- Both phones will feature a 50MP Omnivision primary camera, similar to current flagships.
- They will have updated batteries based on high-density silicon. The Xiaomi 14 series already uses high-density silicon batteries, but we expect the new battery technology to mean higher capacity or smaller physical battery size.
- Xiaomi may use a new periscope camera and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
- The Xiaomi 15 series will go into mass production in September, which suggests a launch in China in the fourth quarter of 2024 and in the West at MWC 2025.
