Poco F6 revealed: these are Xiaomi’s next bestsellers

Xiaomi is going to announce what the next bestsellers of 2024 will be: Little F6. The company has scheduled an event for the month of May where it will reveal all the details about these two new smartphones which could come with better cameras, updated design, more powerful processor and equally attractive price to maintain their position. one of the best mid-range phones on the market.

The company, in particular, announces two versions of the new Poco F6 family. On the one hand, there is the basic version of the same name, which will stand out for its balance between characteristics and price. On the other hand, there is the Pro variant with more powerful specifications that can compete even with high-end mobiles, albeit at a very interesting price.

And although Xiaomi has barely confirmed some details such as the release date, the processor of the Pro model or part of the design of the device, the leaks have given us a glimpse of a lot of new features coming to both smartphones.

Design of Poco F6 and F6 Pro

Poco F6 will be very different from its predecessors, Poco F5 and F5 Pro. Xiaomi itself has repeatedly confirmed the appearance of the base model, even showing off a new titanium color similar to the one we see on the iPhone 15. On the plus side, though, the terminal most likely has aluminum frames.

Its frame will also be made of aluminum, and according to the recently leaked image, the front panel will have thin bezels and will be completely flat.

However, its photographic module will have a rectangular shape and will occupy most of the rear territory. It will house three cameras.

Screen, battery and performance of Poco F6

Although Xiaomi has not confirmed anything in this regard, there are many leaks revealing features related to the screen, performance and battery life of the Poco F6 Pro.

In particular, the most powerful version of the new smartphone family will come with a panel. 6.67-inch AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution, as well as a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 2400 nits. There are no details about the panel of the Poco F6 yet, but the smartphone is likely to have a Full HD+ display and slightly lower brightness.

In terms of power, thanks to Poco, we know that the Poco F6 Pro will be powered by a processor. Snapdragon 8s 3rd generation. This will be done with different RAM and storage configurations, as well as battery about 5000 mAh capacity. Again, there are no specific details about the performance or battery life of the Poco F6.

What will your cameras be like?

An image of the Poco F6 Pro posted by Xiaomi revealed that the smartphone will have Main sensor 50 megapixels about which, unfortunately, we do not know more detailed information. It is highly likely that the company will also bet on an ultra-wide-angle lens, as well as a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom capability.

For its part, the Poco F6 will have a wide-angle main camera and most likely a second ultra-wide-angle sensor. So I would ditch the telephoto lens we see on the Pro model.

Presentation date and possible prices

Xiaomi has confirmed that Poco F6 and F6 Pro They will be presented in Dubai on May 23rd.. Their prices, as well as the date of availability on the European market, remain unknown, but we do not expect major changes regarding the cost of the Poco F5 and F5 Pro, which went on sale for 420 and 580 euros, respectively.
