More information about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Ring was recently revealed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the United States. Details about the foldable device’s battery capacity and the smart ring’s current dimensions were revealed in public documents discovered by the website MySmartPrice.

The site found the Galaxy Z Flip 6 listed as model SM-F741U. According to the FCC document, Galaxy Z Flip 6 will have two batteries (structure required for folding design). One of them will have a capacity of 1,097 mAh, the other will have a capacity of 2,790 mAh, total 3.887mAh.

Although the component does not have that much capacity, Samsung will probably launch the device with a rounded value of 4,000 mAh.

Compared to last year’s foldable Galaxy Z Flip 5, the new model will have a 296 mAh more battery. Since the 8.3% increase is an isolated increase, it should not provide a significant improvement in autonomy unless the chipset and other components become more energy efficient.

Also, according to the FCC database, Galaxy Z Flip 6 will support Wi-Fi 6E networks and UL Demko certification ensures compatibility with 25W chargers.

In previous Geekbench benchmark tests, it was found that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Made for Galaxy processor paired with 8 GB of RAM. The list on the Camera FV 5 website indicates that the main camera will have 50 MP resolution with f / 1.8 aperture.

More information about Galaxy Ring

The FCC also provided detailed information about the Galaxy Ring. Samsung’s smart ring will be sold in sizes ranging from 5 to 12. 5, 6 and 7 sizes will be equipped with a 17 mAh battery, and 8, 9, 10 and 11 sizes will be equipped with an 18.5 mAh battery. Finally, the 12-dimensional accessory will have 22.5 mAh.

Galaxy Ring's release date will be announced soon.

Although the battery looks small, these are common values in the market. Oura Ring, an accessory well-known in the industry, offers model options ranging from 15 mAh to 22 mAh, depending on its size.

In the case of the Oura Ring, the autonomy of the device varies with use; The more resources you access, the greater the energy consumption. The experience on Galaxy Ring should be similar.

More official information about the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Ring is expected to emerge soon. Recently, South Korean media confirmed that the next Galaxy Unpacked will take place on July 10, and Samsung is expected to take advantage of this opportunity to introduce new devices.
