After its debut in the Asian market, Realme has launched its flagships worldwide in the second half of 2024: Realme GT 6 and GT 6T, two high-end smartphones that have common strengths and can stand up to the rest of the mobile phones from brands like Xiaomi, Oppo or Samsung, but they also have some, albeit very few, differences between them.
Realme GT 6 and GT 6T essentially have almost the same design. Both smartphones have a rear panel that stands out for its photography module and various finishes that are more premium than what we are used to seeing in mid- and high-end Chinese phones, as they have a matte finish in neutral colors. The rear part is also combined with 6.78-inch AMOLED screen. In both cases, with WQHD+ resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.
What stands out most about the screen of the Realme GT 6 and GT 6T is, without a doubt, his shine. The company included a panel capable of peak up to 6000 nits; it managed to become the brightest screen on a smartphone under 1000 euros. Of course, this amount is only shown under certain conditions; for example, when playing HDR content. The standard maximum brightness of both terminals is 1600 nits, which is also quite a lot.
The screen is complemented 5500 mAh battery in both models, so such brightness values should not affect autonomy. Additionally, Realme has included 120W fast charging on its GT 6 and GT 6T, which the company says can deliver 50% battery charge in just 10 minutes. A full charge takes 26 minutes.

The only differences between Realme GT 6 and GT6 T
Realme GT 6 and GT 6T have virtually no differences between them. The main one is in its processor. Model GT 6 has a chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s third generation; in this case, it’s accompanied by a generous 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage, although Realme also sells a version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, as well as an 8GB and 256GB version. On the other hand, the 6T variant has a simpler processor: Snapdragon 7+ 3rd generation. Moreover, the only version has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory.
Despite the differences in processors, both smartphones have the same AI capabilities. One of them, and probably the most interesting, is the night vision mode, which can improve video in situations where there is very little light, for example, in nightclubs. The company also has an AI Smart Loop feature that can recognize content on the screen and generate recommendations about what is displayed on it.
In terms of camera, both the Realme GT 6 and Realme GT 6T come with a primary sensor. Sony LIT-808 50 MP with f/1.9 aperture. They also feature an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor.
