They’re making an 88-inch iPhone

Aru Maini, popularly known as Mrwhosetheboss on YouTube, has teamed up with another YouTuber to create the largest iPhone in history. Together, they designed and built a fully functional iPhone measuring almost 90 inches. Specifically, An 88-inch iPhone and there’s even a massive USB-C charging cable.

This project of stratospheric proportions took them a year and they spent it. More than 60,000 euros while creating this giant iPhone.

The weight of the 88-inch iPhone you are about to see 199kg and it works like other iPhone models, with much larger hardware components than usual.

These YouTubers’ 88-inch iPhone is huge LG OLED TV screen with 8K resolution and a touchscreen layer on top, assembled with a process that mimics the production of touchscreens in smartphones.

While Apple designed its own hardware components, like the new A18 and A18 Pro chips in the iPhone 16 models, to build this massive iPhone it did what Apple would never do: use Android hardware and software.

They used an Android product called Happiness Operating System It can be installed on PC hardware and full touch screen compatibility.

They also used a massive chassis that’s strong enough to support the weight of LG’s 88-inch OLED panel. buttons made of aluminum.
