Apple has confirmed that it will fix a flaw that some iPhone 16 users found. causes the device to randomly reboot, closing open apps and turning the phone back on without prior notice.
The problem, reported by many consumers in recent days, is caused by a possible incompatibility with iOS 18, the current version of Apple’s mobile operating system. Users on Reddit report that this happens several times a day, especially when they’re only in Standby mode.

Apple promises fix

iOS 18.1 is also expected to mark the debut of Apple Intelligence, the company’s suite of artificial intelligence (AI) tools. However, not all functions will launch, including the long-awaited redesign of the Siri personal assistant, and some languages, such as Brazilian Portuguese, will not be available in this initial release.
