Russian company Concordia introduced its new electric car “E-Carrus” at the Pir-Expo fair in Moscow. This car is designed for one driver and two passengers and has a unique design with original car and motorcycle suspensions. The main feature of the new product is replaceable NMC batteries developed using the company’s unique technology. The preliminary price of E-carrus is 960,000 rubles.

The car is very light – its total weight is only 350 kg, and the drive is made on the basis of Russian low-power units. E-Carrus can travel 120 km on a single charge and reach a maximum speed of 45 km/h. Due to its characteristics, this electric vehicle is perfect for urban transportation, but in Russia its use will most likely be limited to the southern regions.

Concordia is considering exporting the E-Carrus abroad, and Egypt has been cited as a potential market. The company is already collaborating with local partners to organize the production of its electric cars. The first batch of e-carruses will go to Egypt, and local assembly in the region is planned later.
