Google has integrated a feature into Android that will make your life easier if you send a lot of messages on WhatsApp. The tech giant has included an option in its artificial intelligence that helps you write messages or make calls in the popular messaging client. Starting today, Android mobile device users will be able to combine Gemini artificial intelligence with WhatsApp.
The new feature is part of Gemini Extensions, a feature that allows Google A.I. connect to other services and applications. Extensions debuted a few months ago in apps like YouTube, Gmail, Drive or Calendar, and today it’s the turn of third-party apps. One of the first on the list is WhatsApp, which offers sending messages and making calls.
To activate them, the user you just need to ask Gemini what you want to compose a message or call one of your contacts. In addition to the typical instruction “Hey Google, call Jorge on WhatsApp,” the AI supports natural language instructions. For example, you could say, “I need to talk to Jorge, can you call him on WhatsApp?” and Gemini will do the same.
In the case of chats, you only need to tell it to send a message to a specific contact. As with calls, message instructions can be as specific as you want. Geminis will take into account context and keywordsso never forget the contact name and application (WhatsApp).

How to Send Messages on WhatsApp Using Gemini AI
Before sending a message or calling on WhatsApp using AI, you need to make sure that you have the Gemini app installed. Subsequently you should set the app as your default assistant.
