We thought a lot about when Samsung Galaxy S25and there were a lot of rumors. However, we now have everything but an official announcement, as a leaked event poster claims that Galaxy Unpacked will take place on January 22, 2025.
Evan Blass, a tipster with a reliable and proven track record, was the first to share information about X. Since the first post, the image has been removed due to a copyright claim, but you can see what it looked like below. The date on the poster matches previous leaks that also set the event for January 22, giving us an almost guarantee of that date.

As for the sign’s design, many have speculated about what it means. Some have argued that the four ends of the “X” mean that four phones may be displayed, while others have suggested that it could be a reference to Bixby. However, this is probably nothing more than graphic design; The Galaxy Unpacked 2024 poster looked the same as this year’s.
Samsung is breaking from the norm this year by releasing four phones, but only three are expected to launch at Galaxy Unpacked: the Samsung Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra. However, this is not the only leak today. Jukanlosreve, another Galaxy S25 leaker, shared alleged photos of the Galaxy S25 Plus. It’s similar in almost every way to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus, but it’s still fun to look at.
All the emerging information taken together is a strong indicator that the Galaxy S25 release date is approaching. It’s now almost confirmed for January 22nd, but we don’t have a definitive time yet. Galaxy Unpacked 2024 started at 9am ET/6am PT, so this year’s event will likely follow a similar schedule.
