Recently announced abroad Moto G15 and Moto G05 launches confirmed in Brazil last Wednesday (18)It strengthens Motorola’s entry-level mobile phone portfolio. Both models have Android 15, artificial intelligence features for photos and long battery life.
The most basic of the new features, Moto G05, has a 6.67-inch IPS screen with HD + resolution, 90 Hz frequency, maximum 1,000 nits brightness and Smart Water Touch technology that provides protection against water. The processor is MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme with 4GB of RAM and expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card.
It has a 50 MP main camera with Quad Pixel technology that provides greater clarity, artificial intelligence-supported Night Sight and Portrait modes, as well as an 8 MP front camera with HDR. Other prominent features include a 5,200 mAh battery with 18W charging, NFC for contactless payments, and stereo sound with Bass Boost and Dolby Atmos.
The Motorola Moto G05 will soon be available in Brazil with its ultra-thin design, vegan leather finish, and gray and purple color options with Pantone-curated color tones. Prices have not been announced yet.
Moto G15
This slightly larger model has a 6.7-inch IPS display with FHD+ resolution, 70 Hz refresh rate, 1,000 nits brightness, and water protection. The processor is the same as the above option but runs on 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
In terms of cameras, the main 50MP sensor is accompanied by a secondary 5MP sensor that brings 6x digital zoom, image enhancement with AI, automatic Night Sight, Portrait mode with AI, and facial retouching, while the front lens is 8MP. The 5,200 mAh battery has 40 hours of autonomy and supports 20W fast charging.
Moto G15 also has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Bass Boost, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.4. Recommended price for the 256 GB version is R$ 1,399 — The 128GB model in light or dark blue is not yet available. It can be found in green and graphite colors.
According to Motorola, Both Moto G15 and Moto G05 will have a two-year security update warranty. Both have Family Space, Dimo, ThinkShield for Mobile and Moto Secure features, but do not offer 5G connectivity.
