Since its announcement in 2022, Apple has promised that the next generation of CarPlay will arrive in cars very soon, and later set 2024 as the official launch date. Now a company from Cupertino confirmed that it has been postponed indefinitely.
Apple has essentially removed all references to the upcoming CarPlay launch from its website, with the date no longer appearing on the page that displays information about the car’s operating system. The company also shared a statement on the portal. 9to5Mac claiming that they are still working with car manufacturers to offer it in their cars.
