During the announcement, Pei said the Nothing Phone 1 uses a flexible OLED panel, although it retains its “flat” structure. He said the decision was to make the front of the phone smoother considering all the thin edges.

The device uses 100% recycled aluminum in its construction, and other regions also use recycled bioplastic – this uses more than 50% of the material in construction. According to the company, this is a way to show that Nothing depends on the environment.

Nothing Phone 1 uses Corning Gorilla Glass on both sides and on the back brings what the brand calls it Glyph Interface. On the back, there is a slight cutout in the upper left corner for the two cameras.
