Apple continues to make changes to one of iOS 16’s most important features: a setting that allows users to view battery percentage in the status bar. The second beta of iOS 16.1as it turned out MacRumorsnow offers a new preview which causes the padding of the battery icon to match the battery percentage.

Apple will also no longer display the lightning bolt icon when the battery is 100% charged, even if the iPhone is still connected to a power source.
iOS 16.1 will also add battery percentages to iPhones that weren’t previously supported.
iOS 16.1 also introduces another major change related to iPhone battery percentage: support for those models where the option was unavailable for activation. iOS 16 specifically only allows you to activate the battery indicator in the status bar on iPhone X, Xs and Xs Max, iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max, iPhone 12, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max and iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max . iphone xr, On the other hand, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 13 mini do not support this feature.
