Zenfone 9 users will be able to update the device’s operating system this week. Asus is preparing the stable version of Android 13 for compact devices without the need for a beta version.

Recently, the brand released Google software for its most powerful smartphone in beta. THEMSome regions already have an update option.

Before that, you need to backup your data. Along with the new operating system comes a revamp of the mobile manager, contacts, phone, clock, gallery, settings and a host of other items.

Users will also be able to set notification permissions for each app, and there’s a QR Code scanner shortcut. In case of downgrading to Android 12 from the official package, the data in the internal memory of the device will be deleted.

Asus launched the Zenfone 9 in early 2022 as one of the only compact models on the market.It has a 5.9 inch screen. The battery of the phone is 4,300 mAh and the device has Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip.

Asus is expected to release Android 13 for devices in the coming months. Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip ready for January 2023🇧🇷 Samsung has already rolled out Android 13 for dozens of branded devices.
