iOS 16, the latest version of Apple’s operating system, seems to cause more problems in the lives of its users than its predecessors. At least, that’s what many people are reporting on private forums and social networks, even after recent system updates.

The last major system update occurred on December 13, when the system upgraded to iOS 16.2. Even after the bug fixes promised by Apple, users have reported that several issues persist in addition to new issues appearing.. We may see complaints on forums like Reddit and MacRumorsIn addition to Apple’s own official support page.

As you’d expect, problem notifications also appear on Twitter.

These are a wide variety of challenges, from camera crashes and other apps to mobile phone slowdown and excessive battery consumption. Many users also complain about the keyboard, which may be faulty or not appear when needed in various applications.

Speaking of the latest update in particular, there have been complaints about the “Home” app on Reddit, for example. Minor crashes when launching apps seem to be a common complaint, as at least one user has reported that it started appearing right after updating to iOS 16.2.

Apple declined to comment on the reports. Currently, the company is testing the next version of the system, iOS 16.3, and hasn’t disclosed any bug fixes. If the issues really are as frequent as they seem, the company may be releasing another update for the system before version 16.3 arrives, but that’s just an assumption.
