App ranking: Check out the most searched apps in Brazil

WhatsApp, Shopee, Amazon, OLX, Americanas, Mercado Livre and iFood are some of them. Most wanted apps in Brazil. The list was released this week by RankMyApp, which specializes in marketing intelligence and mobile-first media management.

The survey, made with data for the second half of 2022, is based on the daily positioning of apps in the Play Store and App Store main categories. The ranking by company took into account the number of times the app ranked first in its category.

For example, in “Shopping,” Shein and Shopee dominated user preference, ranking leaders among Google and Apple system apps, respectively. In “food and drink”, iFood is at the top of both platforms.

“The RankMyApp study is crucial so that companies can assess how their apps are positioned relative to their competitors in the Google Play Store and App Store,” said Rodrigo Thedim, the company’s head of marketing and sales.
