During the Inside Computex 2022 livestream, MSI introduced the MEG 342C, a 34-inch ultra-wide gaming monitor with a quantum dot-oled panel. The screen offers 1800R curvature, 3440 x 1440 pixel resolution and 175Hz refresh rate. No information is yet available in terms of price or availability, although the manufacturer states that the display won’t exactly be cheap.

Thanks to the use of QD-OLED, GTG response times of just 0.1ms are possible, while HDR peak brightness is 1,000 nits. Average color error (delta-e) is less than 2, also MSI claims 99.3% dci-p3, 97.8% Adobe RGB and 139.1% srgb color space. Other features include hardware blue light filter, a light sensor to automatically adjust brightness, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

It is not clear what kind of connection the MEG 342C offers, the specs point to a USB type-c port with displayport alt mode in any case. There’s also a built-in kvm switch that lets you use two computers at the same time, along with picture-by-picture mode.
