In theory, the jet can travel at Mach 0.94, so just below the sound barrier. In practice, the Bombardier managed to make it to Mach 1.015 in some tests. Or rather, he managed to do this with a previous-generation prototype, the Global 7500, and the Global 8000 could deliver even more daring performance. Interestingly, it uses SAF fuel, which reduces CO2 emissions by at least 75% compared to other alternatives.
The cabin can accommodate 19 passengers, while the private jet has a range of 14,800 km, about 8,000 miles.
