Seasonic has supplemented its Watt Calculator with several unannounced Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards from AMD. This tool can be found on the manufacturer’s website and allows users to calculate the consumption of their future systems to select the appropriate power source.

Specifically, it concerns the RX 7700 XT, 7800 XT and 7900 XT, with a minimum of 650 watts and twice the recommended 750 W respectively. The minimum capacity of the RX 7700 XT and 7800 XT corresponds to the capacity of its predecessors from the RX 6000 series, AMD recommends a psu of at least 850 W for the RX 6900 XT.

However, the recommended power supplies are the same compared to the same model of the previous generation; this indicates that the manufacturer is simply reusing the values as a placeholder. Additionally, the top model with the Navi 31 GPU consumes 375 to 450 watts according to Moore’s Law is Dead – a 25 to 50 percent increase over the RX 6900 XT.
