Custom enclosure manufacturer Hyte has launched a unique new product. The pcie 4.0 riser comes with a dummy card inserted into the pcie slot of the motherboard. For this, if a video card is mounted vertically, the cable should be kept out of sight as much as possible. The look of the fake card was inspired by the aquarium locker that the brand launched in early 2022.

Brackets are included for mounting in full and half pcie slots with the necessary screws. The 200-millimetre cable is protected against electromagnetic interference by aluminum foil and the conductors are made of silver-plated copper. The cable is currently only available in North America for $80, and is also expected to arrive in Germany and the Benelux on the Alternative.
