Electric vehicles will change many driving paradigms, and these changes will be even more significant if they are associated with autonomous robots D artificial intelligence.
If in the future, which is not yet, all cars will be electric, it is not practical to place sockets in all parking spaces to recharge them. It’s much easier than the plug fits your car…
Ziggy is an autonomous robot.huge battery with wheels that go to your car to recharge it. A plus saves your seat until you arrive. Here is a useful robot! You can see it in this video:
Through a mobile application, or in the car itself, you contact Ziggy when you drive to the parking lot. Ziggy confirms the request and he runs to look for a free place. He stays there, reserving a spot for you until you arrive.
Once in the parking lot, Ziggy steps aside and lets you park. It is then placed next to your car, and this is where the manual phase begins: you pay for the top-up in advance, bring your NFC-enabled mobile phone closer, and You connect the charger to your car.
You can go shopping or watch a movie while the car is fully charged. When Ziggy is done, he will automatically log out and take care of another client. In addition, the shopping center can receive additional profitability, i.e. two advertising screens that he has.
On the video, this seems like a very practical and efficient system, but something tells me that in real life, everything will not be so simple. We’ve all seen the chaos that goes on in department store parking lots on the weekends. it will not be easy for an autonomous robot.
Not only distribute, but also successfully perform some of its functions. For example, if you need to reserve a seat for someone, it may happen that while you are driving to him, another driver takes it from you.
And driving through a crowded parking lot, narrow streets and pedestrians should not be easy at all.
But we assume that its manufacturer, EV Safe Charge, will refine these issues as the robots Ziggy become reality.
