We know it companies like Apple, Microsoft or Google make hundreds of billions of dollars a year.but it’s hard to measure for those of us who deal with 20 or 50 euro notes…

Tipaldi quantifies how much Apple, Google, Amazon, Facebook or Microsoft and other companies earn per second. The data has been converted by Business Insider into a handy chart, which you can see below.

As we see The company that makes the most money in the world is Apple with a profit of $1,752 per second., that is, about 1671 euros. If you have a salary of about 1600 euros per month, Apple earns as much in 12 seconds as you earn in a year. If you’ve been working for 50 years, Apple gets that income in just 10 minutes.

The income of the other two companies exceeds $1,000 per second. Microsoft reaches $1244 and Google reaches $1089.

Further, two North American banks, Bank of America and Wells Fargo, are higher. Facebook, which earns about 558 euros per second, three times less than Apple. It is with its privacy measures that Apple has caused Facebook to lose billions of euros a year.

You may be surprised that Amazon to be so low on the list, reached “one” 350 euros per second. The reason is that invest most of what you earntherefore your profit is usually lower.

On average, technology companies earn about 170 euros per second.. As we can see from the table, important companies such as HP, NVIDIA or eBay are below average.

Keep in mind that this data is based on 2020 earnings. We are in a tough time right now with company stocks plummeting and earnings being squeezed by inflation and the commodity crisis caused by the Ukraine invasion, to which are added other problems such as the Semiconductor Crisis.

Of course earnings per second will not be so high at the end of 2022.
