Snapchat has announced a paid membership. Is called Snapchat + and includes some exclusive features. The price? $3.99 per month
Snapchat+ will make its official debut in a few days, but initially the subscription will be available exclusively in a handful of states.
Subscribers have access to a special icon to customize the app on the home screen. In addition, they also get more control over the statistics of their stories: they know, for example, who has seen their content multiple times. They will also be able to tag a contact with “BFF,” which stands for best friend forever.
Other than that, Snapchat+ gives you early access to some exclusive features, testing the app’s new products and services. Basically, it’s kind of a beta tester program with a few extra benefits.
Snapchat+ will initially be available to residents of the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Italy remains excluded, at least for the time being. Who knows in the future.
Snapchat+ is a few days away from Telegram Premium, a subscription to the app of the same name that offers a suite of features and additional powerful benefits.
