Natural disasters
Also, electric vehicles may be the best option in case of natural disasters, as gas stations can be affected by such flooding. For example, after Hurricane Sandy, gas stations took a long time to come back, and many people were able to use electric cars to help their neighbors.
Electric vehicles may also be the best option to avoid man-made natural disasters, as these cars reduce carbon emissions. In fact, reducing the impact of carbon on the atmosphere is one of the few ways to reduce extreme weather events caused by human impact on nature.
